MPB All Access/Caroline Rose

Caroline Rose and Jer Coons are a new duo from Burlington Vermont. The duo just recently showcased their talents at SXSW 2013. They literally played their way all the way from Vermont to Texas by performing at house parties all over the country. Caroline and Jer were kind enough to stop by the studios at Mississippi Public Broadcasting on their way to SXSW in Austin to give us an intimate performance that will be aired this Fall on MPB. Caroline’s songwriting is a slice of Americana that cuts deep into the roots of American folk music. Her debut album “America Religious” will be available to the public April 23, 2013, on CD, mp3, and vinyl. The album was written and composed by Caroline and Jer with virtually all of the instruments on the album performed by them! The album is a “must have” for any music lovers catalog.
